Pastor Jonathan Kollmann

My life is centered on the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ to people of all ages, nations, and races. I do not lean to one theological persuasion (liberal or conservative). I radically offer as an ambassador of Jesus Christ the transforming message of the gospel to all. My theology is richly rooted and centered in God’s grace, Jesus Christ’s ministry, and the early New Testament church. The New Testament church never excluded anyone by offering the good news of God’s grace and love, hope, and life to all. I thoroughly believe in community, fellowship, and family ministries that include small groups, family life ministries, marriage encounter, and gatherings for ministry to people who are normally excluded. I have seen tremendous fruit in ministry to people with young families and seniors (all ages). I believe that love, grace, and joyful obedience to God is primary for a Christian. I give all praise and glory to God! I love Jesus! He never excluded anyone. He hung out with people so that he could develop deep relationships with them…that is God’s mission – not religious obligation, but deep, loving, fun relationships. That’s my ministry in a nutshell!

My dream is to lead and equip a congregation in a growing area to be faithful servants of Jesus Christ.  These servants would become salt and light in their context. By being salt, they will preserve their community and relationships, and many will taste and see that the Lord is good! As light they will illuminate faith, hope, and love to all those in the darkness of doubt, hopelessness and strife. This community will do whatever it takes to be salt and light as a community of faith and in their own homes, workplaces, all relationships, wherever they are. I found that at CLOUGH UMC! Call me anytime if you want to get together at 513-460-0322.  Blessings and love!

(Pastor Jonathan is also a Chaplain in the United States Air Force Reserves at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for the 445th Airlift Wing www.445aw.afrc.af.mil/ )
