Children's Moments

Are the children the future of the church? We would venture to say that you probably answered yes. At Clough United Methodist, not only are the children our future, but they are also the present. We invite our children to participate in the Children's Moments (up front during the worship service) and Children's Church (in age groups during the sermon). We hope to provide them with a solid foundation and knowledge of scripture, right and wrong, and surround them with God's love.

Children’s Choir

All children 1st thru 6th grade are invited to join our Children's Choir.  The choir participates in Sunday services several times during the year and presents a Christmas and Easter musical.  Practices begin at noon after the Sunday morning worship service and end at 12:45.  Contact Robin Wilson (231-4870) for more information.  Children in Pre-school and Kindergarten participate in a special choir that meets Sundays after the service.  Their rehearsal ends at 12:30.  Contact Betty Bothwell (683-9975) for more information.

Easter Eggstravaganza!

Clough United Methodist Church is celebrating Easter by inviting children three years old through sixth graders and their parents/guardians to its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sat., March 27 at 10 a.m.  The hunt will be held on the church grounds at 2010 Wolfangel Road in Anderson Township.  In case of rain, activities will be moved inside.  The children can visit with the Clough Clowns and participate in a drawing for special prizes.  The children will be divided into age groups for the actual egg hunt.  Parents/guardians are encouraged to bring cameras for photo opportunities at the special Easter backgrounds the church is providing.  Children should bring their Easter baskets for the hunt.  All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.  The event is free.  Donations of canned food will be accepted for the Food Bank of the Inter Parish Ministries in Newtown.
